Gym Streptomyces medium
Composition per liter:
| Agar | 12.0 g |
| Glucose | 4.0 g |
| Malt extract | 10.0 g |
| Yeast extract | 4.0 g |
| CaCO3 | 2.0 g |
pH 7.2±0.1 before adding agar
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized water and bring volume to 1.0 L. Mix thoroughly. Gently heat and bring to boiling. Distribute into tubes or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 121oC. Delete CaCO3 if liquid medium is used.
