<- 1994, L.V. Zvereva, P941-2. Isolated from: soil, area of oil product depot, Polazna oil-extracting enterprise, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR. Properties: uses hydrocarbons as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+, Cu2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 8, 28oC).
