<- 1994, L.V. Zvereva, GO58-2-2. Isolated from: water, well, Gozhan-Shagirtskoe oilfield, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR. Properties: uses hydrocarbons as a sole carbon source; transforms thioanisole (257); resistant to Zn2+ (20.0 mM), Mo6+ (10.0 mM). (Medium 8, 28oC).
