<- 1996, M.I. Richkova, IEGM, It2. Isolated from: bottom sediments, Italy. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG637001). Properties: uses n-hexadecane and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Cd2+, Cr6+ (20.0 mM), Zn2+ (10.0 mM), Mo6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
