<- 2002, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, O-1. Isolated from: oil-polluted soil, Osa, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG637007). Properties: uses n-hexadecane and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (10.0 mM), Cr6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
