<- 2014, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, K32. Isolated from: oil-polluted waste, Sosnogorsk, Komi Republic, Russia. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG912571). Properties: uses n-hexadecane and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+, Cu2+, Ni2+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
