Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG645192). Properties: uses propane, n-pentane and n-hexadecane as a sole carbon source; resistant to Cr6+ (40.0 mM), Zn2+ (20.0 mM), Cu2+, Ni2+, Mo6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
