<- 2013, M.I. Richkova, IEGM, 3М. Isolated from: water, enterprise on production of paracetamol, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR; 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG645201). Properties: uses n-hexadecane as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+ (10.0 mM), Cu2+, Mo6+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
