<- 2010, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, R107-1. Isolated from: Polygonum aviculare rhizosphere, petrol station, Perm, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR; 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG912566). Properties: uses n-hexadecane and butanol as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+ (10.0 mM), Cu2+, Mo6+, Ni2+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
