<- 2011, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, Sb3-4. Isolated from: oil-polluted soil, petrol station, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR; 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG645198). Properties: uses n-hexadecane as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+, Ni2+ (10.0 mM), Cu2+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
