<- 2011, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, ТP4-1. Isolated from: soil, lake shore Gal'tsovoye, Mamontov peninsula, Tyumen region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR. Properties: uses n-hexadecane as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+ (10.0 mM), Cu2+, Ni2+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
