<- 2013, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, ХМ6-43. Isolated from: soil near Untitled lake, Tyumen region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR; 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG645208). Properties: uses n-hexadecane and xylole as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+, Ni2+, Zn2+ (10.0 mM), Cu2+, Mo6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
