<- 2019, T.N. Kamenskykh, IEGM, K 7-2. Isolated from: oil-polluted soil, Udmurt Republic, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR. Properties: uses n-hexadecane, propan-1-ol, crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to cephalexin, kanamycin, nalidixic acid. (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
