<- 1990, E.A. Elovikova, Ch-291. Isolated from: sewage, Kharbin, China. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR (245). Properties: uses hydrocarbons as a sole carbon source; exhibits antilysozyme activity; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+, Cu2+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
