<- 1989, T.N. Kamenskikh, Ya-28. Isolated from: snow, Yakutia, Saha Republic, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR (245). Properties: uses hydrocarbons as a sole carbon source; resistant to Mo6+, Pb2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
