<- 1988, T.N. Kamenskikh, P8 14-1. Isolated from: oil-polluted soil, oil-extracting enterprise, Perm region, Russia. Properties: uses hydrocarbons and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Cr6+ (10.0 mM), Mo6+, Pb2+ (5.0 mM), VO2+ (12.5 mM), VO43- (50.0 mM), VO3- (>250.0 mM) (286); adheres to liquid hydrocarbons (n-hexadecane) (320); accumulates nickel (423). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
