<- 1995, L.V. Zvereva, P943-2. Isolated from: soil, diesel fuel filling station area, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR (245). Properties: uses hydrocarbons as a sole carbon source; forms cholesterol oxidase; resistant to Cr6+ (10.0 mM), Cu2+, Mo6+, Pb2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 8, 28oC).
