<- 2010, А.R. Ageeva, BR. Isolated from: oil-polluted soil, oilfield, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR. Properties: uses n-hexadecane and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Cr6+, Mo6+, Pb2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
