<- 1994, M.V. Berdichevskaya, Ts1. Isolated from: water, Lvov region, Ukraine. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR; 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. Properties: uses n-decane, n-hexadecane and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Zn2+ (10.0 mM), Cr6+, Cu2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
