<- 1994, L.V. Zvereva SP42. Isolated from: oil-polluted water, distillery area, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. Properties: uses hydrocarbons and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+ (10.0 mM), Cu2+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
