<- 2009, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, N3-33. Isolated from: soil, Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR. Properties: uses butanol, n-hexadecane and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Cr6+, Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cu2+, Mo6+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
