<- 2009, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, N9-41. Isolated from: soil, Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR. Properties: uses n-hexadecane and butanol as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+, Cu2+, Mo6+, Ni2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
