<- 2011, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, ТP1-32. Isolated from: soil, lake shore Gal'tsovoye, Tyumen region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR; 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG645200). Properties: uses n-hexadecane and xylole as a sole carbon source; resistant to Mo6+ (10.0 mM), Cr6+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
