<- 1980, I.B. Ivshina, IEGM, IMV 325 <- O.A. Nesterenko, UCM, IMV 325 (‘Rhodococcus longus’). Isolated from: oil-polluted soil, oil-gas field, Poltava region, Ukraine. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG912563). Properties: uses n-hexadecane as a sole carbon source; resistant to Că6+ (5.0 mM), VO2+ (25.0 mM), VO43- (50.0 mM), VO3- (>250.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
