<- 1989, L.V. Zvereva, MI-90. Isolated from: sand from the depth 6.0 m, Belarus. Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus ruber primers in species-specific PCR (245). Properties: uses propane and n-butane as a sole carbon source; resistant to Cr6+, Ni2+, Pb2+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 5, 28oC).
