Properties: utilizes hydrocarbons (83); accumulates intracellular polyphosphates and phosphates of metals on cell surfaces and in a medium (144); resistant to Cr⁶⁺ (40.0 mM), Cd²⁺, Ni²⁺, Zn²⁺ (10.0 mM), Cu²⁺ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28^oC).
