Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG645212). Properties: uses propane, n-butane, n-hexadecane and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Cr6+, Pb2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2, 5 or 8, 28oC).
