<- 2011, L.V. Kostina, IEGM, NT4-3. Isolated from: rhizosphere, soil, Stroganovskiy otval, Sverdlovsk region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. Properties: uses liquid n-alkanes (C11−C16), butanol, xylole, and crude oil as a sole carbon source; resistant to Cr6+, Ni2+, Pb2+ (10.0 mM), Mo6+, Zn2+ (10.0 mM), Cd2+, Cu2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2, 8 or 15, 28oC).
