<- 2010, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, R10 10-1. Isolated from: Taraxacum officinale rhizosphere, gas-pipe area, Perm, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG637012). Properties: uses propane, n-hydrocarbons (C16), aliphatic alcohols (butan-1-ol), and aromatic hydrocarbons (naphthalene) as a sole carbon source; resistant to Mo6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2, 5 or 8, 28oC).
