Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG637014). Properties: uses propane, n-hydrocarbons (C16), and aliphatic alcohols (butan-1-ol) as a sole carbon source; resistant to Mo6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2, 5 or 8, 28oC).
