Isolated from: oil-polluted soil, oil-gas field, Poltava region, Ukraine. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG607377); MALDFI-TOF MS protein profiling. Properties: uses propane and n-hydrocarbons (C16) as a sole carbon source; resistant to Mo6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2, 5 or 8, 28oC).
