<- 2008, M.I. Richkova, IEGM, G3 (Rhodococcus sp.). Isolated from: technogenic soil pollution, Gubakha, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis; MALDFI-TOF MS protein profiling. Properties: uses propane, n-hydrocarbons (C16), aliphatic alcohols (butan-1-ol), aromatic hydrocarbons (xylole) as a sole carbon source; resistant to Mo6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2, 5 or 8, 28oC).
