<- 2017, A.A. Elkin, IEGM, NZ-10PMK. Isolated from: moss rhizosphere, soil near a stream at hydropost, bukhta Tikhaya, Gukera Island, Franz Josef Land, Arkhangel'sk region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG645215). Properties: uses n-hexadecane and butanol as a sole carbon source; resistant to Cr6+ (40.0 mM), Mo6+ (10.0 mM), Zn2+ (5.0 mM); transforms pentacyclic triterpenoids oleanolic and glycyrrhetinic acids (1.0 g/L) (431). (Medium: 2, 8 or 15, 28°C).
