<- 2009, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, R3-1. Isolated from: Plantago rhizosphere, soil, former landfill area, Perm, Perm region, Russia. Properties: uses propane and n-butane, liquid n-alkanes (C5-C7, C11-C16) as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (10.0 mM). (Medium 5, 8 or 11, 28oC).
