<- 2009, T.N. Kamenskikh, IEGM, R14-4. Isolated from: Urtica dioica rhizosphere, soil, gas-pipe area, Perm, Perm region, Russia. Taxonomy/description: 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis (GenBank accession number MG637025). Properties: uses propane, n-butane, and liquid n-alkanes (C5−C7, C11−C16) as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 5, 8 or 11, 28oC).
