Properties: uses hydrocarbons; maintains methabolic activity (45%) at salt concentration 123.0 g/l (49); transforms thioanisole (257); transforms β-sitosterol (263, 277); resistant to Cr⁶⁺ (5.0 mM), VO²⁺ (12.5 mM), VO₄^3- (100.0 mM), VO₃^- (>250.0 mM), accumulates molybdenum and nickel (286, 423).
