Properties: uses propane and n-butane as a sole carbon source; resistant to lincomycin, oxacillin, polymyxin and nalidixic acid when growing on propane and n-hexadecane (230, 246); resistant to Pb2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 5, 28oC).
