<- 1977, I.B. Ivshina, OEGM B-1785. Isolated from: oil-polluted water, Fjodorovskoe oil deposit, Tyumen region, Russia. Properties: uses propane, n-butane and liquid n-alkanes (C5-C16) as a sole carbon source; exhibits lysozyme and antilysozyme activity; resistant to Pb2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2, 5 or 8, 28oC).
