<- 1991, L.V. Zvereva, Ba-13. Isolated from: bottomset beds, the Baykal lake, Irkutsk region, Russia. Properties: uses propane and n-butane as a sole carbon source; exhibits lysozyme and antilysozyme activity; resistant to Cr6+ (10.0 mM), Cd2+, Cu2+, Mo6+, Pb2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 5, 28oC).
