<- 1989, T.N. Kamenskikh, K-91. Isolated from: snow, Yakutia, Saha Republic, Russia.Taxonomy/description: shows positive result with Rhodococcus erythropolis primers in species-specific PCR (245). Properties: uses hydrocarbons as a sole carbon source; resistant to Pb2+ (10.0 mM), Cr6+, Mo6+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2 or 8, 28oC).
