Properties: uses n-hexadecane and crude oil as a sole carbon source; ransforms thioanisole (257); resistant to Ni2+, Zn2+ (5.0 mM), VO43- (50.0 mM), VO3- (>250.0 mM), accumulates nickel (286, 423). (Medium 2, 6 or 8, 28°C).
