Properties: uses propane, n-butane, liquid n-alkanes (C11-C16) and aliphatic alcohols (ethanol, n-propanol, n-butanol) as a sole carbon source; transforms thioanisole (257); adheres to liquid hydrocarbons (n-hexadecane) (320); resistant to n-hexane (349); resistant to Cr6+ (40.0 mM), Zn2+ (20.0 mM), Mo6+ (10.0 mM), Cd2+, Pb2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2, 5, 8 or 15, 28oC).
