<- 1984, I.B. Ivshina, OEGM B-33. Isolated from: sandy soil, Gomel region, Belarus. Taxonomy/description: (5, 22, 96). Demonstrates the reaction of complete identity with polyclonal antiserum against Rhodococcus ruber IEGM 70T (96). Properties: uses propane and n-butane as a sole carbon source; forms cholesterol oxidase; resistant to Pb2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 5, 28oC).
