Properties: uses normal hydrocarbons, aliphatic alcohols (ethanol, heptan-1-ol, propan-1-ol) and aromatic hydrocarbons (oxybenzene) as sole carbon source; resistant to Cr6+, Pb2+ (5.0 mM), VO2+ (12.5 mM), VO43- (50.0 mM), VO3- (>250.0 mM) (286, 329); adheres to liquid hydrocarbons (n-hexadecane) (320); resistant to n-hexane (349); accumulates nickel (423). (Medium 2, 6, 8, 15 or 16, 28oC).
