Properties: n-butane, liquid n-alkanes (C5-C7, C11-C16) and aliphatic alcohols (ethanol, n-propanol, n-butanol) as a sole carbon source (95); resistant to Cr6+ (5.0 mM), VO2+ (12.5 mM), VO43- (50.0 mM), VO3- (>250.0 mM) (286). (Medium 2 or 5, 28oC).
