Properties: uses hydrocarbons as a sole carbon source; produces biosurfactants when growing on n-alkanes (C10-C16) (235); exhibits lysozyme activity; resistant to Mo6+ (20.0 mM), Cr6+, Pb2+ (10.0 mM), Cu2+, Ni2+ (5.0 mM). (Medium 2, 6, 8 or 11, 28oC).
